Meridian Atelier has opened the doors of a new by-appointment salon dedicated to made-to-measure tailoring, with a single fitting room, a very long sofa, and a waiting list it politely declines to discuss.

The house says the salon will host no more than a handful of clients a week, in keeping with a philosophy it describes only as "quietly."
